When we started sheet mulching our front lawn it caused a conversation with our neighbor, whose house you can see in the background of this pic, quite close to where we were working. She came out and watched us for a few minutes and we thought “uh oh, now we’re going to have trouble“ but no: she said “I have an old cotton rug you can have to help, if you like”, so she brought it out and laid it down, and you can see it as the pink patch on the far side.
